  1. High carbon steel. When the fiber laser cutting machine uses O2 as the production and processing gas, the laser cutting edge will be slightly oxidized. For sheet materials as thin as 4mm, N2 can be used as the production and processing steam for high-pressure laser cutting. Under such conditions, the laser cutting edge is not easy to be oxidized. For a sheet with a thickness of more than 10mm, a unique pole plate is applied to the laser of the steel laser cutting machine and the surface layer of the product workpiece can be greased in the production process to obtain a better practical effect.


2. Copper and brass. Both materials have high transmittance and very good thermal conductivity. Brass with a thickness of less than 1mm can be cut with N2 laser; copper with a thickness of less than 2mm can be laser cut, and O2 must be used for the production and processing of steam. Laser cutting of copper and brass is only possible if the "reflection absorption" device is installed in the system software. Otherwise, the reflection will destroy the electronic optical components.




3. Stainless steel, stainless steel is the most used in various fields. When the fiber laser cutting machine laser cuts stainless steel, N2 is applied to obtain an oxidized and burr-free edge under the condition that the edge is not affected by oxidation. Coating the oil film on the surface of the sheet will achieve a better actual effect of punching, and it is not easy to reduce the quality of production and processing.




4. Aluminum. Although aluminum has high transmittance and thermal conductivity for fiber laser cutting machines, aluminum with a thickness of less than 6mm can be laser cut, depending on the type of alloy and the working capacity of the laser. When using oxygen laser cutting, the laser cut surface is rough and hard. When using N2, the laser cut surface is smooth. Pure aluminum is very difficult to laser cut because of its high purity. Laser cutting of aluminum can only be done if the "reflection absorption" device is installed on the fiber laser cutting machine system software. Otherwise, the reflection will destroy the electronic optical components.




5. Titanium. The titanium sheet is laser cut with argon and N2 as the production and processing vapor. Other main parameters can refer to nickel-chromium steel.
